CNC Machinist

Pay: $20-30/hr.

Hours: Monday-Friday 6AM-4PM

Job Description:

Seeking skilled CNC Machinists! You will operate both vertical and horizontal CNC machines, ensuring precision in every setup. The machinist conducts daily checks, reports promptly, and initiates maintenance requests when needed. They meet production goals efficiently while accurately interpreting blueprints and instructions. Utilizing precision tools, they ensure quality assurance. Additionally, they are responsible for handling rework and repairs as necessary. Prioritize safety and adhere to protocols. Troubleshoot issues and contribute to overall efficiency.

Requirements:

· High School diploma or GED equivalent required.

· Vocational training/certification in machining preferred.

· Minimum three (3) years’ experience in manufacturing role using complex multi-axis machining centers required; apprenticeship or vocational training may be considered.

· Ability to read and interpret shop blueprints, sketches, and technical instructions required.

· Proficiency in basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fraction conversions)

· Experience with micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and precision measuring equipment required.

· Proficient in using indicators to verify flatness and straightness of tooling and fixturing.

· Experience in troubleshooting production issues and program edits.

· Consistent employment history without significant gaps or frequent job changes expected.

· Completion of assigned internal training for Level III Operators and periodic retraining or recertification required.

· Experience with cranes, forklifts, and similar heavy material handling equipment preferred.
