Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist to join a machining team in Tulsa. The CNC Lathe Machinist will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC lathes to produce large-diameter machined components while maintaining strict tolerance and quality standards.

This CNC Lathe Machinist role is ideal for candidates with strong programming experience using GibbsCAM and familiarity with Fanuc controls.

Required Experience & Skills

• 3+ years of CNC lathe machining experience preferred
• Experience machining large-diameter parts (12” or larger)
• GibbsCAM programming knowledge required
• Experience with Fanuc controls
• Proficiency using precision measuring tools
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

The CNC Lathe Machinist role includes:

• Set up and operate CNC lathes for large-diameter parts (12”+)
• Program and edit machining operations using GibbsCAM
• Perform tooling setup, offsets, and machine adjustments
• Read and interpret blueprints and machining specifications
• Inspect finished parts to verify accuracy and tolerance requirements
• Maintain machines, tooling, and a safe work environment
• Work collaboratively with machinists, engineers, and production teams
