Position Overview

The CNC Brake Operator is responsible for operating CNC press brake equipment to bend and form metal components according to engineering specifications and production requirements. This CNC Brake Operator role requires strong blueprint reading skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain precise measurements while supporting efficient production.

Required Experience & Skills

• Previous CNC brake or press brake operating experience required
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Knowledge of metal forming and fabrication processes
• Experience performing machine setup and tooling adjustments
• Strong attention to measurement accuracy and tolerances
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment
• Strong commitment to safety and quality standards

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC press brake machines to bend and form metal components
• Adjust tooling and machine settings to meet job specifications
• Inspect finished parts to verify dimensional accuracy and quality standards
• Read and follow work orders, blueprints, and production instructions
• Monitor machine performance and report any operational issues
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
• Document production results and quality checks as required
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Preferred Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Technical training in fabrication, machining, or metal forming is a plus
