Job Position: Class B Welder

Location: Collinsville, OK 74021
Pay Rate: $20.00 - $25.00/hr BOE
Shift: Monday-Friday, 5:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Overtime required)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Class B Welder to join our team in Collinsville, OK. The ideal candidate will assist with planned fit-up and welding activities, ensuring quality and adherence to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planned daily activities under supervision.
• Participate in pre- and post-planned readiness of parts and tools.
• Perform welding tasks using FCAW and GMAW processes, as directed by the foreman/supervisor.
• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings to determine welding specifications.
• Use and interpret measuring devices (e.g., measuring tape) accurately.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within specifications.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools effectively.
• Maintain quality and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Follow safety protocols and support 5S procedures.
• Work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the foreman.

Qualifications:

• Experience:
  • 1-3 years of manufacturing experience in fitting/welding-related functions.
  • Gouging experience is a plus.
• Skills:
  • Complete understanding of ASME code requirements.
  • Certified according to ASME code.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings.
  • Skilled in using measuring devices and hand tools (powered and manual).
  • Strong mathematical abilities.
• Testing Requirements:
  • Welding Test: 3G Mig & Flux on Plate (Downhill Mig Root, Uphill Flux Fill in the Cap—Visual and Bend, no X-ray).
  • Fitter Test: Provided by the company prior to hire.
