Class B Assembler

Pay: $17+/HR
Hours: Monday – Saturday, 6 AM - 3:30 PM (Hours may change based on needs; Saturday is a short day)

Job Description:
Join us as a Class B Assembler and become an essential part of our team, where you'll test mechanical components with precision and efficiency. As an Assembly Class B Technician, your focus will be on ensuring high-quality production through the assembly and testing of various components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assembly Tasks: Assemble and fit parts using portable grinders, hand tools, and power tools.
• Component Installation: Install moving parts such as shafts and bearings, bend and install pipes, and align gears in gearboxes.
• Equipment Operation: Operate tube-rolling equipment, conduct hydro testing, and prepare final assemblies for shipment or storage.
• Manual Handling: Position parts manually or using overhead cranes and clean/prep tubes for welding.
• Workplace Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work environment using 5S methodology.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members to ensure the functionality of tools and equipment.

Skills Required:

• Experience: Prior experience in assembly preferred, but not required; we welcome candidates with little to no experience.
• Multitasking: Ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Teamwork: Strong teamwork skills and respect for the public, customers, vendors, and colleagues.
• Adaptability: Ability to work cooperatively, interchange roles within the department, and maintain cleanliness and functionality standards.
