Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Class A Vessel Fitter to join a Tulsa-based fabrication team. This role focuses on the precision fitting and welding of pressure vessels, tanks, and shells in accordance with ASME standards and customer specifications. The Class A Vessel Fitter position requires strong vessel fabrication and layout experience, as well as the ability to interpret complex blueprints with accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately fit and assemble large vessel components including heads, nozzles, shells, baffles, and internals.
• Collaborate with engineers, welders, and quality inspectors to meet the highest fabrication standards.
• Perform layout, marking, and cutting tasks based on engineered drawings and tolerances.
• Work with precision tools and measuring equipment to verify accuracy.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Class A Vessel Fitter in vessel fabrication and welding.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and engineering specifications.
• Knowledge of ASME standards and pressure vessel fabrication practices.
• Skilled in layout, cutting, and precision fitting tasks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and meeting deadlines.
