Pay: $22+/hour (plus 11.5% shift differential on all hours worked)
Schedule: Friday–Sunday, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Certified Weld Inspector to join a growing manufacturing operation in Tulsa, OK. The Certified Weld Inspector will be responsible for ensuring all welds meet AWS, ASME, or other quality standards, reviewing welding procedures, and performing non-destructive testing (NDT) when required. This is a safety-sensitive position that requires a strong understanding of welding processes, precision inspection skills, and a proactive approach to maintaining the highest quality standards in the field.
What You’ll Do
• Inspect welds visually and dimensionally to ensure compliance with AWS, ASME, or applicable standards.
• Review welding procedures and certifications for accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor welding operations to verify proper techniques and safety practices are being followed.
• Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) methods, such as magnetic particle, dye penetrant, ultrasonic, or radiographic testing when required.
• Maintain clear, accurate inspection records and report any quality concerns or discrepancies.
• Collaborate with production teams to resolve welding issues and support continuous improvement efforts.
• Stay current on industry codes and best practices, maintaining a strong understanding of quality standards.
What We’re Looking For
• Certification: AWS Certified Weld Inspector (CWI) or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: 3–5 years in welding inspection or a related field.
• Knowledge: Deep understanding of welding processes (SMAW, GMAW, GTAW), metallurgy, and inspection techniques.
• Skills:
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving.
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret welding symbols.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Bonus Points For
• Familiarity with ASME Section IX, API, or ISO quality systems.
• Experience with inspection tools and reporting software.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and data entry.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
• This is a safety-sensitive position, involving work around heavy equipment, tools, and potentially hazardous materials.
• Standing, bending, squatting, and climbing are required for up to 95% of the shift.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, move and position materials in confined spaces, and work safely around machinery.
• Lifting devices and team lifts should be used when available.
