CDL Class A Driver

• Pay: $20–$23 per hour
• Hours: Monday–Saturday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM
• Location: Sapulpa, OK
• Duration: Temp-to-Hire

Position Overview

We are seeking a CDL A Driver / Shipping Specialist to handle transportation and logistics operations for heat exchanger components, parts, and equipment. This role requires a valid CDL Class A license, warehouse experience, and strong attention to detail to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

CDL A Driver Responsibilities

• Safely operate a CDL Class A truck to transport heat exchanger components, parts, and equipment between company locations, suppliers, and customers.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and adhere to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations.
• Ensure proper loading and securing of cargo to prevent damage during transit.
• Transport raw materials and finished products, ensuring on-time deliveries.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members regarding delivery schedules and potential delays.

Shipping & Receiving Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments, inspect for accuracy and damage, and log inventory.
• Prepare products and materials for shipment, including labeling, packaging, and creating shipping documents.
• Load and unload materials, components, and finished products, ensuring proper handling and storage.
• Maintain organized records of incoming and outgoing shipments for inventory tracking.
• Coordinate with internal departments to meet shipping deadlines.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse while ensuring adherence to safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL A License with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience driving a CDL Class A truck (shipping/receiving experience preferred).
• Experience in warehouse/logistics is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as unloading trucks and moving heavy equipment.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and warehouse safety protocols.
• Attention to detail for maintaining accurate documentation.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Forklift certification preferred, but training is available for the right candidate.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
