Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Cargo Component Technician to join a growing aerospace team north of Tulsa. In this role, you will repair and test aircraft cargo components, ensuring high-quality workmanship and efficient turnaround times. The ideal Cargo Component Technician is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and committed to maintaining safety and precision in every repair.
Key Responsibilities
Repair and test aircraft cargo components such as PDUs, lateral guides, latches, locks, and ball mats.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems using hand and power tools.
Read, understand, and follow technical manuals and schematics.
Provide clear communication with team members and shift handoffs.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Education & Experience
Minimum of 2 years of aviation-related technical experience or equivalent education preferred (not required).
Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems.
Ability to read and follow technical manuals and schematics.
FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification is a plus, but not required.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with noise, dust, and industrial conditions.
