Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Burner Operator to support kiln operations in a brick manufacturing environment. This Burner Operator role is critical to maintaining proper firing cycles, ensuring product quality, and supporting efficient plant operations.

What the Burner Operator Will Be Doing

• Monitor and operate kiln burner systems according to established procedures
• Adjust burner settings to maintain proper temperatures and firing cycles
• Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance
• Accurately read and interpret gauges and measurements
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow all safety, quality, and production standards

Required Qualifications for the Burner Operator

• Excellent attendance and reliability
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Quick learner and self-starter
• High school–level reading comprehension and math skills
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to walk long distances and stand for extended periods
• Ability to work in a manufacturing and high-temperature environment
