Join our team as a Machine Operator, setting up and operating power brakes to bend, notch, and form metal plates and sheets to blueprint specifications.

What you’ll be doing:

• Set up and operate power brake machines to bend, notch, punch, and form metal plates or sheets according to blueprints or sketches.
• Select, position, and align dies in the machine, and adjust pressure and clearance settings.
• Perform layout work from blueprints or templates, manually positioning workpieces or using cranes for alignment.
• Operate the machine to bend or cut metal, set stops for successive operations, and verify workpiece dimensions.
• Adjust machine settings, including rake and blade pressure, and position stops and guides for accurate cuts.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Proven ability to set up and operate power brakes and other metalworking machinery.
• Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints or sketches for layout and alignment.
• Strong mechanical skills with attention to detail in metal forming and cutting operations.
• Ability to work with precision, ensuring accurate dimensions and quality results.
