Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Brake Press Operator to join a fast-paced fabrication environment in Sapulpa. The Brake Press Operator will operate press brake machinery, inspect materials for accuracy, and produce high-quality parts according to shop drawings while maintaining strict safety and productivity standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with and around overhead cranes, forklifts, trucks, power equipment, and automated machinery — this is a Safety-Sensitive position
• Inspect materials to ensure correct grade, type, and accuracy
• Operate machines including press brake, shear, rolls, angle line, plasma tables, saws, drills, and Voortman equipment
• Set up machines to produce parts according to blueprints and job specifications
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment as required
• Consistently meet productivity and quality expectations
• Follow all company safety procedures
• Maintain a clean work area and uphold 5S standards
• Collaborate with team members to support efficient production flow

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of press brake experience
• Ability to operate overhead cranes and power tools
• Ability to read and write basic shop communications
• Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and other measuring devices
• Ability to read shop drawings and understand bills of materials
• Willingness to learn new skills and follow detailed instructions
