Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Brake Press Operator to join a Tulsa-based metal fabrication team. The Brake Press Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating brake press machines to bend, form, and shape metal components according to engineering specifications and production schedules.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate brake press machines to bend sheet metal and plate materials.
Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine machine setup and tooling needs.
Inspect finished parts for accuracy, quality, and conformance to specifications.
Adjust machine settings to accommodate material thickness and bend angles.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of brake press equipment.
Maintain a clean and safe work area while following company safety standards.
Record production data and report issues to supervisors.
Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.
Requirements
1–2 years of experience operating brake press machines in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Must have forklift experience.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced setting.
Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
Physically capable of working with heavy materials in industrial environments.
