Pay: $17 – $20 per hour DOE (2nd shift receives an 11.5% shift premium)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Brake Press Operator to work at a new climate-controlled facility producing tight tolerance sheet metal products. The role involves setting up and operating CNC hydraulic press brakes, interpreting technical documents, and ensuring quality production. The Brake Press Operator must be willing to work flexible hours and overtime as needed to meet production demands.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC hydraulic press brakes to bend metal plates.
• Interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and work instructions.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Follow all safety requirements of the company and industry.
• Solve problems as they arise and assist with troubleshooting production issues.
• Use hand and power tools effectively.
• Utilize materials efficiently to minimize waste and scrap.
• Interpret prints, sketches, and verbal descriptions.
• Deburr parts as required.
• Load programs from external downloads or input manually.
• Select proper punches, dies, and tooling for operations.

Machines Used

• CNC Press Brake (AMADA, TRUMPF, ACCUPRESS, BYSTRONIC, CINCINNATI)

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Must own or be willing to purchase required tools and a locking toolbox.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs as needed.
• Comfortable performing repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods.

• Certified 12" caliper
• Tape measure
• Protractors
