Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable Brake Press Helper to join a Tulsa-based fabrication shop. This role supports operations around a 40-foot brake press, assisting operators and ensuring production runs smoothly. The Brake Press Helper position is perfect for someone with strong stamina, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to read a tape measure accurately.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist brake press operators with material handling and setup.

• Accurately measure raw materials and finished parts using a tape measure.

• Lift, carry, and position heavy metal components (up to 80 lbs).

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

• Follow all PPE and safety requirements at all times.

• Support team members with general shop duties as needed.

• Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers to keep workflow efficient.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret measurements with precision.

• Comfortable repeatedly lifting and maneuvering heavy materials.

• Previous experience in a fabrication or industrial environment preferred.

• Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.

• Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.
