Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Boom Lift Operator to join a seasonal decorating crew for a large outdoor festival in Tulsa. The ideal candidate will have proven experience operating boom lifts safely and efficiently while assisting in the installation of lights, signage, and other décor. The Boom Lift Operator will play an essential role in ensuring a safe, timely, and visually stunning setup.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate boom lift equipment to access elevated areas.
• Assist decorating teams with installation of lighting, props, and signage.
• Perform pre-operation checks and routine equipment maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and PPE requirements.
• Collaborate with ground crew and event coordinators for efficient setup.
• Adjust decorations as needed based on layout or weather conditions.

Requirements

• Prior experience as a Boom Lift Operator, preferably outdoors.
• Comfortable working at heights and in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.

Bonus Skills

• Previous event setup or outdoor decorating experience.
• Familiarity with rigging or lighting systems.
• Creative eye for presentation and visual detail.
