Pay: $24–$30/hour + 11.5% shift premium on all hours worked
Schedule: 3rd Shift – Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented AWS Certified Weld Inspector to join a respected fabrication facility in Tulsa, OK. The AWS Certified Weld Inspector will be responsible for verifying that all welds meet AWS, ASME, and internal quality standards. This position requires excellent attention to detail, strong technical knowledge of welding processes, and a commitment to maintaining the highest level of safety and quality throughout production.
Key Responsibilities
• Inspect and evaluate welds to ensure compliance with AWS, ASME, or other applicable quality codes.
• Review welding procedures and certifications to verify adherence to approved standards.
• Monitor active welding operations to confirm proper technique, safety, and parameter control.
• Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) when required and record results accurately.
• Document inspection findings and maintain detailed quality records.
• Collaborate with production teams to identify and correct welding deficiencies.
• Provide feedback to improve welding processes and overall quality performance.
• Work in a safety-sensitive environment that requires standing, bending, and climbing throughout the shift.
Qualifications
• AWS Certified Weld Inspector (CWI) certification or equivalent preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in welding inspection or a closely related field required.
• Strong understanding of welding techniques, processes, symbols, and codes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding procedure specifications (WPS).
• Experience performing visual and NDT inspections (VT, PT, MT, UT) preferred.
• Strong communication and documentation skills with attention to detail.
• Must be able to work independently and collaborate effectively with welders and supervisors.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
• Frequent standing, bending, and climbing throughout the workday.
• Must be able to work in a fabrication environment around heat, noise, and heavy materials.
• This is a safety-sensitive position requiring focus, precision, and adherence to all company safety policies.
