Position Overview

The Assembly Technician – Process Piping is responsible for assembling process piping systems in a production environment, primarily through piping bolt-up. This Assembly Technician – Process Piping role involves reading drawings, following Bills of Material (BOMs), and building piping runs to exact specifications. The ideal Assembly Technician – Process Piping is detail-oriented, experienced in piping assembly, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

Required Experience & Skills

• 1–2 years of experience in piping assembly or a related field (preferred)
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and prints
• Familiarity with Bills of Material (BOMs) and assembly processes
• Knowledge of materials used in process piping systems
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specifications
• Ability to work in a production-driven environment
• Prior industry experience is a plus and may reduce training time

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Assemble process piping systems, primarily through piping bolt-up
• Read and interpret assembly drawings and prints
• Follow BOMs to ensure correct parts and materials are used
• Build piping runs according to drawing specifications
• Verify assemblies meet quality and specification requirements
• Maintain a safe and efficient work environment
