Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Assembly Technician – Process Piping to support the assembly of industrial process piping systems. This role focuses on piping bolt-up assembly, interpreting drawings, and building piping runs to exact specifications in a production environment.
What the Assembly Technician – Process Piping Will Be Doing
• Assemble process piping systems, primarily through piping bolt-up • Read and interpret assembly drawings and mechanical prints • Follow Bills of Material (BOMs) to ensure correct components are used • Build piping runs according to drawing specifications • Verify completed assemblies meet quality and specification requirements • Work safely and efficiently while supporting production schedules
Required Qualifications for the Assembly Technician – Process Piping
• 1–2 years of experience in piping assembly or a related field (preferred) • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings • Familiarity with BOMs and assembly processes • Knowledge of materials commonly used in process piping systems • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specifications • Prior industry experience is a plus and may reduce training time
