Job Position: Assembly Technician
Pay Range: $17 - $18.50 per hour (DOE) + 11.5% shift premium on all hours worked
Shift/Hours: Friday - Sunday, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking motivated and dedicated Assembly Technicians to join a growing team in Tulsa. Ideal candidates are goal-oriented, team players who are eager to grow with the company. The Assembly Technician will review work orders, acquire parts for new product assembly, and coordinate with manufacturing as needed. This role requires basic knowledge of testing procedures and techniques.

Key Responsibilities

Assembly and Repair: Utilize tools to fabricate or repair parts and products.
Technical Interpretation: Read and interpret technical documents such as diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
Workplace Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following all safety protocols.
Problem Solving: Apply reasoning to troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise.
Product Improvement: Assist with repair and maintenance to enhance product quality and service.
Documentation: Record test procedures, data, observations, and results accurately.
Tool Usage: Proficiency with hand and power tools, including electrical wiring and riveting components.

Requirements

Educational Background: High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience: Demonstrated experience with mechanical assemblies and the use of hand and power tools.
Technical Skills: Proven experience with electrical wiring and riveting.
Physical Ability: Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to follow written and oral instructions and meet production schedules and quality standards.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

This position is classified as Safety-Sensitive due to the nature of the tasks, which include:
• Handling, packaging, processing, and transporting hazardous materials.
• Operating vehicles, equipment, machinery, and power tools.
• Performing maintenance or monitoring performance of critical manufacturing processes.
• Managing critical services and infrastructure such as electric, gas, and water utilities.
• Handling volatile, flammable, or combustible materials and chemicals.

The job requires standing, bending, squatting, and climbing for approximately 95% of the work shift while performing assembly tasks and inspecting work.
