Assembly Supervisor

Hours: Monday- Friday 6AM-4:30PM

Minimum 5 years in general management experience in a manufacturing environment.

Job Description:

Studies schedules and estimates time, cost, and labor estimates for products, services, and/or complete of job assignments. Requisitions material required to meet production goals. Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders to employees and assign duties. Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules, using knowledge of capacities of machines and equipment. Examines assembled products to determine if items meet tolerance specifications. Recommends measure to improve methods, performance, and quality of product, and suggest changes in working conditions to increase efficiency. Analyzes and resolves work problems, and/or assists in solving work problems. Supervises workers who use hand tools, jigs, power tools, and equipment. Routine trouble shooting and problem solving, including finding ways of improvement for long-term solution. Encourage continuous idea generation from team members for continuous process improvement in cost, time, and safety. Ensure 5S is being applied on a daily basis. Ensure all equipment is up to date and within the standards needed. Follow updated schedules to meet ship dates provided by management. Strong attention to detail, organization skills, and communication skills are a must.
