Job Title: Assembly Lead
Pay: $26–$32/hr (DOE)
Location: Tulsa, OK
Shift: 1st Shift – Monday through Thursday, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Occasional weekend work may be required based on production needs.

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assembly Lead to supervise a group of assemblers on 1st shift. The ideal candidate will bring strong mechanical expertise, proven leadership experience, and a hands-on, results-driven approach to promoting productivity, quality, and safety on the production floor.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 6–12 assemblers within the assembly department
• Coordinate daily assignments, ensuring alignment with the production schedule
• Oversee quality control and assembly accuracy for all builds
• Train and mentor both new and existing team members on procedures and best practices
• Communicate effectively with production supervisors, quality assurance, and engineering
• Ensure proper and safe use of hand and power tools; maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Interpret and verify blueprints, drawings, and technical work instructions
• Monitor and report team performance; escalate concerns as needed
• Enforce safety protocols and uphold company policies

Qualifications

• 3+ years of mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing setting
• 1+ year of leadership experience (as a Lead, Trainer, or Supervisor)
• Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, mechanical components, and fastening systems
• Skilled in troubleshooting, process improvement, and team motivation
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to lead by example and hold team members accountable to performance and safety standards

Work Environment

This is a hands-on leadership position within a fast-paced, industrial environment. The facility is not climate-controlled and may involve exposure to loud noise, dust, and metal particles. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)—including hearing protection, safety glasses, and steel-toed boots—is required.
