Job Overview

A leading aerospace manufacturer in the Tulsa area is seeking Assemblers to join their team. This Assembly role is hands-on and fast-paced, working with sheet metal components used in aircraft structures. The Assembly position is ideal for individuals with mechanical aptitude, who enjoy building, working with tools, and want long-term stability with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred (those without may be required to complete a pre-employment assessment)
• Experience in aircraft assembly or sheet metal work preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to follow detailed work instructions
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools is a plus
• Skilled with hand tools and power tools
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities

The Assembly role includes the following duties:

• Read and follow work instructions, blueprints, work orders, and engineering documents
• Pull parts and report shortages
• Work with various gauges and types of aluminum sheet metal
• Clean, prep, and load components onto fixtures
• Drill, ream, rivet, fit, countersink, adjust, and assemble parts
• Trim, file, grind, deburr, and smooth surfaces
• Inspect work to ensure all specifications are met
• Complete rework as directed by engineering
• Report defects, malfunctions, or unusual conditions
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand or sit for long periods
• Must be able to lift 10–50 lbs as needed
• Comfortable working in environments with varying noise levels
• Must wear required PPE, including eye, ear, and foot protection
