Position Overview

The Assembler/Tester II is responsible for assembling, testing, and preparing valve and choke products for shipment in a manufacturing environment. This Assembler/Tester II role involves using hand and power tools to assemble components, performing functional testing, and ensuring all products meet strict quality and specification standards.

The ideal Assembler/Tester II is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and capable of maintaining production accuracy while following safety and quality procedures.

Required Experience & Skills

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 1–3 years of manufacturing, assembly, or mechanical experience preferred
• Ability to read work orders, safety procedures, and technical instructions
• Strong attention to detail and quality control awareness
• Basic math skills including fractions, decimals, and measurements
• Ability to work independently while following production procedures

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Assemble valve and choke components according to work orders and production specifications
• Use hand tools and power tools to complete mechanical assembly tasks
• Test and calibrate assembled parts to meet required tolerances and specifications
• Identify parts that fail testing standards and perform adjustments or repairs
• Maintain accurate logs and records for testing equipment and job orders
• Apply serial numbers and quality stamps for proper product traceability
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods during production tasks
• Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
