Job Description:
As an Account manager assistant, you'll serve as the primary point of contact customers, ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently. Your responsibilities encompass a variety of crucial tasks, starting with managing Requests for Quotation (RFQs). This includes coordinating with our Estimating Planning Engineer (EPE) to provide accurate quotes and maintaining clear communication channels between customers and our team. Additionally, you'll be tasked with generating comprehensive job quotes based on data provided by the EPE, as well as processing customer purchase orders and ensuring alignment with quoted prices. Your role also extends to providing support in marketing initiatives, such as tradeshow preparation and special event planning, contributing to the enhancement of our company's brand and internal culture. To excel in this role, you should possess 2-5 years of direct customer-facing experience, coupled with outstanding communication and customer service skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is essential, with a willingness to learn MRP/ERP software, preferably Job Boss. Familiarity with software like Visio, Access, Publisher, and graphic design tools is advantageous. Upholding strict confidentiality regarding customer information and company practices is paramount, as is maintaining courteous, precise, and detailed interactions with customers. We value individuals who demonstrate follow-through, attention to detail, and organizational prowess, with preferred skills in basic blueprint reading.
