Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Fitter Welder to join a climate-controlled fabrication facility in Tulsa, OK. The Fitter Welder will perform MIG and TIG welding on a variety of metals, including carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and galveneal. This position requires precision, consistency, and a strong understanding of welding techniques in a fast-paced production setting.

Test Requirements

• MIG welding on Carbon Steel & Stainless Steel required.
• TIG welding on Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, & Aluminum required.
• Fitter / Welder experience strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols to complete projects accurately.
• Fit and weld metal components using MIG and TIG processes according to design specifications.
• Work with carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and galveneal materials to fabricate high-quality assemblies.
• Conduct visual inspections of completed welds to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
• Collaborate with the production team to maintain efficient workflow and meet deadlines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant workspace.

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3 years of professional in-shop welding experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment.
• Advanced knowledge of MIG and TIG welding techniques.
• Ability to read blueprints and work with precision measuring tools.
• Welding certifications preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
