2D AutoCAD Draftsman

Pay: $19.50/hr
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Overtime as necessary)

Job Description:

• Drawing & Design: Create accurate 2D drawings of parts from PDF prints using AutoCAD.
• Support Account Managers: Assist with various tasks as needed by Account Managers.
• Job Documentation: Write up detailed job instructions for the shop floor.
• CAD Review: Check and verify customer CAD drawings to ensure accuracy.
• Nesting Software: Utilize nesting software for efficient design processes.
• File Management: Organize and maintain relationships between models and drawing files.
• Record Keeping: Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all design work.
• Industry Standards Compliance: Ensure that all drawings and plans adhere to industry standards and regulations.
• Technical Support: Provide guidance and technical support to team members when needed.
• Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Specific experience in 2D CAD or a strong interest in computer-based work.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to producing quality work.
• Proficiency in MS Office and the ability to learn internal business software systems.
• Familiarity with manufacturing methods, procedures, and related hardware/software for manufacturing and automation.
