The Challenge

STAGE’s vision is to provide the best video viewing experience for everyone on various devices from smartphones to tablets to smart TV. We are looking for a Flutter developer responsible for the development and maintenance of applications aimed at a vast number of diverse Android, iOS and Smart TV devices. Your primary focus will be the development of applications for any screen and their integration with back-end services. In this role, you will lead architecture and ship high-performance, reliable code which helps us deliver an awesome experience to our end users. You will be working alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and creating quality products is essential. Roles and Responsibilities

● You will influence how we build individual features and products, and bring in best practices and patterns that can be used for engineering lifecycle for multi-screen app discipline

● You’ll take ownership of our continued efforts to scale mobile and TV app development across Engineering, providing valuable insight on how we can refine our processes and tools to support additional contributors in our architecture and code

● Drive feature development for our apps for multi-screen

● Video player is the core of our applications, your responsibility will be to keep the player lightweight and make sure that it streams video for low-end devices seamlessly

● Take ownership of end-to-end product quality, from developing to maintaining core app frameworks that help make the apps more reliable and delightful

● Create prototypes of new ideas and explore new technologies at the forefront of mobile technology

Expectations

● 1-3 years of experience in Android or iOS mobile applications development

● 1+ years of experience with Flutter in a professional capacity

● Hands-on experience in building mobile applications and mobility solutions – native applications

● Have proficiency in Dart

● A history of achieving goals on time by tracking milestones and tasks

● A knack for writing high-quality, readable code, benchmarking and optimization

● Publisher of one or more apps on Apple App Store or Google Play

● Previous work on the Video players is a plus
