Job Brief:
QA Automation Engineer who will start out as a manual QA to understand the product and processes, execute and chart out Regression test suite and transition towards the role of an automation tester. This role requires
excellent communication skills, participation, understanding processes and be able to perform both as a
manual tester to start with and transition to
automation testing. The role requires the ability to
code and write automation test cases.
Skills Required:
- Experience in QA (Manual & Automation Testing)
- Hands-on experience in Test Automation (POM) frameworks with Selenium, preferably JavaScript/Jest frameworks
- Experience writing both GUI & API Automated Tests
- Experience working in an Agile model, ability to break down user stories within sprints to Acceptance Criterias and Test Cases
- Experience in test execution, ability to use Test Management/Defect Management tools such as HP ALM, Jira etc
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to participate in dev & engineering discussions
- Strong ability to code automation tests
