We are seeking a seasoned and hands-on Bitcoin Mining Facilities Manager to direct the running of our Bitcoin mining operations. The Facilities Manager is responsible for creating productive and efficient mining facilities that set us apart from the rest. Duties for the Facilities Manager will include arranging facilities, overseeing mining operations, implementing policies and safety procedures, engaging with clients and contractors, and providing feedback for our SaaS product. Other focuses include minimizing hazards, preparing facilities budgets and monitoring expenditure, designing and planning workstations, testing equipment, forecasting space needs, ensuring compliance with zoning laws, coordinating relocations, and negotiating lease agreements. Your management skills and direction of facilities functions will be vital to our overall business operations. We seek to create excellent and safe working conditions and environments for both staff and clients.
The ideal candidate for this role should possess good communication skills, excellent organizational skills, broad knowledge of business functions, and project management experience. The outstanding Manager of Facilities must understand the technical aspects of cryptocurrency mining, support day to day business operations, ensure efficient operation of facilities, mitigate risk, and ensure that mining operations meet the needs of clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Source and negotiate facilities
Provide robust feedback for our SaaS platform
Oversee contractors
Manage onsite asset security
Ensure secure, stable, efficient and standardized mining operations
Create robust reporting that measures all critical features of mining operations
Proactively identify potential operational problems or deficiencies and offer solutions
Perform maintenance of the mining facilities such as ensuring proper cooling system functioning
Responsible for deployment
Own all functions related to operational wellbeing, including troubleshooting malfunctions and overseeing emergencies
Coordinate maintenance and repairs
Provide budgets and cost estimates
Design and plan facilities layouts
Train clients on safety procedures
Ensure compliance with regulations and laws
Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS :
Experience with Bitcoin and cryptocurrency mining and infrastructure
Experience with all aspects of network maintenance and management
Strong interpersonal skills
