Job Responsibilities
Director, Technology and Digital Strategy spearheads digital development, delivery and management of all technology operations. This individual will provide vision and leadership in the development and implementation of technology platforms and services. This is an excellent opportunity to lead a disruptive startup in its next stage of digital development including focus
areas such as E-commerce, M-Commerce, cloud platform,, big data, analytics, full stack development, user engagement and personalization.
Key Functions for this Role
● Be a Proactive part of the leadership team and responsible for best available technologies to deliver engaging and personalized services, resources and professional development.
● Leads the development of next generation Ecommerce, M-Commerce platform using modern, cloud-based SaaS solutions that are enabled for Dev-Ops and provide infused analytics, agile capabilities, and simple API integration.
● Leads all aspects of digital presence and frontend and backend technologies to support the website, e-commerce, credentials platform(s), online communities, mobile applications and social media to deliver an engaging user experience.
● Ensures a comprehensive enterprise information security program to maintain the integrity, confidentiality and availability of relevant data.
● Hires, develops, evaluates, rewards, and retains a highly-qualified team of technology professionals
Knowledge, Skills and Attributes
● Front-end development experience in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript frameworks, native mobile apps, and responsive web-design.
● Proven leadership competencies and attributes, and demonstrated success in leading and maintaining high-performing work teams. Foster a culture of innovation, transparency and accountability in IT that is aligned with the organizations mission and goals.
● Experience developing personalized digital engagement for members/customers and communities that fosters committed and sustained connections.
● Experience designing and implementing a data-centric architecture with a 360 degree member view, metadata store and data analytics.
● Experience successfully leading development with agile methodologies.
● Business acumen and analytical skills (root cause, action plans, solution alternatives and implementation with optimal impact to business). Ability to lead and manage change inside and outside ones sphere of influence.

Minimum Qualification Guidelines
● Degree and/or equivalent certifications and/or experience in information technology, computer science, web development, and/or application programming from IIT / NIIT / IIIT
● Atleast 5 years of progressing responsibility in digital development. An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be acceptable.
● Proven ability to understand customer and user needs and meet them with the appropriate technologies.
Also desirable
● Spearheading a tech team in startup or corporate environment.
Compensation
● Create your own compensation. It should be a fair mix of Cash (about 33%), Cash Bonus based on milestone (about 10-15%) and stock options (rest). The mix is not very rigid, it can be discussed.
