Job Responsibilities

The Factory Program Manager is responsible for ensuring factory health for Sustaining and Post Ramp Qualification management at manufacturer for customer’s core products. You will be the “go-to” person for all activities occurring in factory. Interfacing with supply chain, sourcing, manufacturing engineer, and quality, you will be DRI for auditing forecasting of clear to build for production and post-ramp-qualifications. During PRQ your responsibility is to drive factory schedule for qualification for builds and implementation of change orders. Your role also owns the ongoing tracking of E&O and PPV driven by product or forecast changes during the sustaining lifecycle. An expert knowledge of purchase orders, component lead-times, logistics implications, and OQC limitations is required to ensure a healthy flow of product.

Responsibilities:

+ Lead customer’s sustaining manufacturing program by managing clear-to-build, scheduling, factory issues, and delivery of parts in coordination with customer Supply Chain, Sourcing, Manufacturing Engineering, and SQE 
+ Drive daily meetings with manufacturer and customer sustaining team to ensure forward movement of any production line risks. 
+ Audit customer forecast vs factory MRP ensuring alignment of POs vs lead-time. 
+ Own weekly factory status reporting on all areas including OTD, build schedule, CTB, OPO, Yield, MRB, PRQ, RMA, Action Tracker, PPV, etc.) 
+ Execute factory scheduling of Post Ramp Qualification builds through to implementation.
+ Track all changes and deviations to implementation. 
+ Communicate factory status to cross-functional team on all factory metrics and health. 
+ Track and reconcile PPVs and E&O. Ensure factory alignment of NPI component costs vs MP component cost strategy set by Sourcing team 
+ Work with SQE, Sourcing, and Supply Chain to resolve any material gating issues. 
+ Be the expert by demonstrating detailed knowledge of "how the factory works," its capabilities, limitations, lead-times, etc. Support coverage for activities occurring at factory. 
+ Manage projects and actions resulting from Quarterly Business Reviews



Skills Required

•Degree in Supply Chain management or Engineering Management 
•5+ years in consumer electronics industry possessing knowledge of NPI, supply chain, materials management, and sourcing 
•Strong spoken and written English, preferably Mandarin 
•Expert in component procurement and can manage complex multi-revision parts 
•Demonstrated experience in gathering full details while having ability of concise communication 
•Good communication skills
