Preparation of frames and jambs used in the pre-hanging process

Prepare, machine, and hang wood and fiberglass doors

Use pneumatic and hand tools to assemble door units

Learn the operation of the production line machinery

Palletize, brace and wrap with stretch film using automated equipment

Maintain quality control on all items produced

Maintain a safe work environment

Must be able to lift 50 lbs unassisted and repeatedly

 

Requirements
One of the largest manufacturers worldwide is looking for a hard-working Production Associate in Stayton, Oregon to assist in the manufacturing process. The Production Worker's responsibilities include keeping the production area clean, preparing machinery and equipment for use, working the production line as instructed, and strictly following health and safety guidelines.

To be successful as a production worker you should be able to work on the production line with consistent speed and accuracy. An outstanding production worker should be able to maintain production standards and work towards improving productivity without compromising quality.

Experience Preferred:
 

Knowledge of the door pre-hanging process and pocket frame assembly a plus

Product knowledge including millwork and fiberglass doors a plus

Ability to accurately read a tape measure

1-2 years production experience

Good paperwork accuracy

Good attendance history

Excellent work habits

Strong attention to detail

Ability to work with others in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
