Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing sales team. The SDR will play a crucial role in driving lead generation, prospecting, and developing sales opportunities. You will be responsible for researching, identifying, and engaging potential customers while helping to build the sales pipeline for our account executives.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Conduct thorough research to identify potential prospects using online resources, social media, and databases.
  • Outreach & Prospecting: Initiate and maintain contact with potential clients through cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn messages to qualify prospects.
  • Qualifying Leads: Understand and analyze the needs of prospects, qualifying them for further engagement by the sales team.
  • CRM Management: Maintain detailed and accurate records of all interactions with prospects in the CRM system.
  • Collaboration with Sales Team: Work closely with Account Executives and Sales Managers to understand prospect needs, ensure smooth handovers of leads, and achieve sales goals.
  • Follow-up: Maintain timely follow-up with inbound and outbound leads and nurture them through the sales funnel.
  • Reporting & Feedback: Provide feedback and insights on lead quality and outreach performance to optimize sales strategies.
  • Sales Strategy Input: Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to refine messaging and lead generation tactics.

Key Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a sales or customer service role (preferably in SaaS or B2B environments).
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to build rapport and engage prospects.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), email marketing tools, and sales automation platforms.
  • Goal-Oriented: Strong desire to meet or exceed measurable performance goals.
  • Persistence: Ability to handle rejection, stay motivated, and continuously improve.
  • Self-Starter: Highly proactive with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a sales or business development role, especially within a technology company.
  • Familiarity with lead generation tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, or similar.
