Summary:

The Photonics team at QuEra pioneers cutting-edge photonic chips for integration into neutral-atom quantum computers. We are seeking a photonic designer to participate in our internship program. The individual in this role will contribute to the design of large-scale photonic systems. 

Qualifications:

• Enrollment in a Master's or Ph.D. program with at least three (3) years of academic experience.
• Proficient with layout tools and the generation of GDSII for fabrication.
• Strong understanding of photonic integrated circuits (PICs) and foundry processes.
• Experience incorporating DoE and DfM into PIC design.
• Experience testing PICs and working in an optics lab.

There is no relocation offered for this role.
