QuEra Computing is seeking talented, impact-motivated theoretical researchers with strong expertise in atomic physics and quantum optics. You will be part of the team to develop and invent novel schemes for implementation of quantum algorithms on our unique hardware. You will have the opportunity to work with a vibrant community of academic collaborators and to help our growing team of diverse experts to address fascinating challenges, from modelling neutral-atom quantum systems to developing hardware-specific applications.
For this role, qualified applicants should have
A PhD degree in physics or a related discipline,
A background in AMO physics and quantum computing, and
An exceptional publication record in relevant fields.
Preferred qualifications include
Experience in high-performance simulation of quantum systems,
Expertise in neutral-atom Rydberg systems,
Experience in the noise modeling of atomic systems and quantum computing hardware,
Deep knowledge of the near-term and long-term applications of quantum computing.
