Our client is seeking a detail-oriented, highly-organized and personable Project Manager to lead a team of e-commerce strategists, designers and engineers that turn Shopify stores into beautiful, high-converting, profit machines. The Project Manager will report directly to the CEO and will oversee, develop, and mentor a team of Project Coordinators to ensure that all projects run smoothly whilst offering superb client management and ongoing support. This role will also have constant communications with our design and development team, providing client updates as they occur. 

As our dedicated Project Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and smooth operation of various projects, including interfacing with clients, creating timelines, tracking budgets, delegating tasks, and delivering the highest possible standard of work - keeping our lovely clients coming back for more! You'll build strong, trusting relationships with these clients, keeping them regularly updated with progress, ensuring solutions are delivered in a timely and efficient manner. However you won’t want to stop there- you will be constantly implementing new ways to improve current processes in place and aren’t afraid to take risks with new ideas. 

We don’t expect you to know everything coming into the role, but we do expect that every week you will learn new things to broaden your experience and what you can do inside the company. Responsibilities:

  1. Client Success:

    • Lead sprint calls and maintain consistent communication so that clients  feel valued and attended to throughout the service

    • Brainstorm strategy, performance, and creative ideas on client calls in a way that communicates confidence and sophistication 

    • Provide superior client service, develop, and nurture excellent client relationships

  2. Project Management:

    • Implement orderly systems and processes and is proactive in ongoing process improvement in all areas 

    • Generate suggestions for streamlining processes in place by developing and presenting innovative solutions

    • Coordinate between teams/departments to ensure the execution of the company’s vision

    • Collaborate directly with the design and development team to ensure timely project completion

    • Attend daily meetings and keep the team informed on any client updates or proactively inform clients of pertinent information

  3. Team Management:

    • Oversee a team of project coordinators, delegate responsibilities and create a culture of ownership, accountability, and timely project completion

    • Lead, mentor, and invest in growth of current project coordinators

    • Train new project coordinators as the team scales; providing support and guidance when needed 

    • Inspire and motivate team to perform well, meet deadlines and KPIs, all while cultivating a positive team spirit 

  4. Strategy:

    • Work closely with the CEO to execute on strategic vision

    • Proactively contribute ideas that will improve client experience and team function

Must Have:

  • Proven experience with client-facing roles

  • Superb interpersonal skills with the ability to put people at ease and engage with people across all areas and levels of the business

  • Confidently manage difficult conversations to expertly lead clients

  • Previous experience in the e-commerce industry/marketing agency is a plus

  • Ability to work at an extremely fast pace with competing priorities

  • Strong leadership ability with a focus on accountability and proactivity for effective project management

  • Experience leading a team, preferred 

  • Basic understanding of design & development terminology to communicate effectively

  • Quick learner with a think-on-your-feet attitude

  • A commitment to high standards, excellence, team, and our clients

  • Able to work preferably on PST or MST
