Job Brief:

We are seeking several Forklift Technicians to perform onsite repairs at our customers facilities across Brampton and the GTA. Technicians will service various lift trucks from manufacturers such as JLG, Combilift, Unicarrier, Linde, and Sky Jack.

Technician will be provided with a company cell phone, computer and a company service vehicle.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Should have 1-3 years’ experience repairing and servicing industrial lift trucks.
• Possess a working knowledge of computers and computer software.
• Must abide by all company health and safety policies.
• Maintain all documentation regarding repairs and maintain parts inventory.
• Good communication skills both written and verbal
• Should be self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
• Must have a valid G class driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must have you own set of tools.
• The successful Technician will submit to a pre-employment background check.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintenance and repair of equipment may include:
• Adjust, repair or replace mechanical or electrical system parts
• Test and adjust repaired equipment for proper performance
• Perform scheduled maintenance and service
• Inspect and test engines to diagnose and isolate faults
• Review work orders and discuss work with supervisor
• Advise customers on work performed and condition of equipment
• Repair and rebuild industrial lift truck equipment
• Estimate repair costs and communicate to customers
• Clean, test, and fill industrial batteries

COMPENSATION:

• $25 - $40/hr, wage rang may vary based on your experience and certification.
• Benefits available after 90 days and includes Health, Dental, Medical, Drug, AD&D, LTD, and Life Insurance.

SHIFT:

Day shift 8:00am – 5:00pm Monday – Friday
