Position Overview: As a Psychologist at Priority Group Services, you will be instrumental in providing psychological assessments, interventions, and therapeutic support to children and adolescents with emotional and behavioral challenges. Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to the development and implementation of comprehensive treatment plans.
Responsibilities:
Psychological Assessments:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to understand the emotional and behavioral needs of children and adolescents.
Utilize standardized testing and clinical interviews to inform diagnostic impressions.
Individual and Group Therapy:
Provide evidence-based individual and group therapy to children and adolescents.
Collaborate with clients and their families to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
Collaboration with Multidisciplinary Team:
Work closely with psychiatrists, social workers, and other professionals to coordinate holistic care.
Participate in team meetings to discuss cases and develop integrated treatment strategies.
Crisis Intervention:
Offer crisis intervention and support to clients during challenging situations.
Collaborate with the team to develop crisis prevention plans.
Treatment Planning and Review:
Contribute to the development and review of individualized treatment plans.
Monitor and assess treatment progress, adjusting plans as necessary.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
Provide written reports and updates to the team as required.
Qualifications:
Licensed or license-eligible as a psychologist in the state of New Jersey.
Experience in child and adolescent psychology preferred.
Strong assessment, therapeutic, and crisis intervention skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
