Job Brief:
Home care is a health service provided in the patient's home to promote, maintain, or restore health or lessen the effects of illness and disability. Services may include nursing care, home health aide services and personal care services.
Responsibilities:
- Provide health care services in patients' residences
- Perform domestic and household tasks
- Transport and accompany patients to doctors offices or to the hospital
- Assist with clients' personal care activites
- Monitor patients (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc) and report on their condition.
- Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support
- Provide or assist in light housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry and grocery shopping
- Maintain a high degree of patient confidentiaity and at all times dut to access to sensitive information.
- Maintain regular attendance, consistent attendance, and is flexible to meet the needs of the patient.
Skills Required:
- Must be Certified by NJ Board of Nursing to provide Care as HHA (Home health Aide)
- Must be 18 and over
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must be caring, compassionate, empathetic, and have a true desire to care for others.
- COVID-19 precautions.
- COVID vaccination is required.
- Must have a driving license & mode of transportation available
Compensation
- Per Diem
- $15-$18 per hour( based on experience)
