Our new Director of Client Services role is for seasoned digital marketers looking for a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and independent leadership position at a high-growth firm. 

As the Director of Client Services, you will be responsible for building and managing a best-in-class client services team, helping a diverse set of Fortune 500 clients take new products from idea to market. This role requires a strong understanding of product marketing and paid social and search. You will be responsible for strengthening and growing existing client relationships, oversee and train a team of account and project managers, and elevating strategic thought leadership across key accounts. 

Responsibilities

  • Oversee a team of Account Managers and Project Managers, including ultimately responsible for the success and growth of 4 or more accounts
  • Provide strategic leadership on portfolio accounts
  • Develop and cultivate client relationships at all levels
  • Act as the internal lead to move the needle on client business outcomes
  • Identify new opportunities and ways to grow each account vertically and/or horizontally
  • Ensure the consistent delivery of top-notch client deliverables
  • Coach and develop Account Managers and Project Managers to maximize their strengths and to consistently deliver client success
  • Create guidelines and train team on growth marketing strategies and best practices 
  • Contribute to processes and operational improvements that elevate our offering and service to clients, and maintain a strong team experience 

Requirements

  • 6-10 years of experience managing client relationships at a digital or creative agency
  • 3+ years of digital marketing experience, including SEM, paid social, analytics, email, and e-commerce
  • Experience building and managing a growth team at a startup or digital agency
  • Proven track record of strengthening and growing new and existing client relationships
  • Excellent presentation and written communication skills
  • Self-starter who is comfortable with a rapidly-changing environment

Ideal Candidate

  • Managed the launch and growth of one or more consumer products
  • Has a strong pulse on the latest digital media innovation and tools 
  • Are able to not only manage teams but also comfortable with rolling up your sleeves to set up and run search and social campaigns
  • Experience with Snap, TikTok, Spotify and Amazon ad products
  • You have a clear strategic mind map and communication skills that invoke confidence in both your clients and team members
  • You are comfortable with project management tools e.g. Asana
