Job Description


Sr. Product Owners at PayCertify play a key role in developing our product strategy and making sure that the company's goals are being met through our product deliverables.They’re viewed as “A CEO of the product”: A single cross-functional owner directly accountable for the success of the product or internal business service

As a Sr. Product Owner-Payment Gateway and Merchant Services, you will need to provide strong sales, organizational, project management, analytical, marketing, and client relationship management skills. Program analysis and analytical capabilities are essential. Must be comfortable working with all levels of customer and internal stakeholder contacts, Client Management and Sales partners. Comfortable working with and demonstrating information reporting systems.



  • At least 7-10 years prior product ownership role, preferably in fin-tech or in high-tech.

  • Data and Customer-driven; knows what it takes to be a pragmatic client advocate

  • Excellent client, communications, and interpersonal skills; crisp communication

  • Excellent personal computer and presentation skills.

  • Strong ability to learn quickly and multi-task.

  • Able to manage both internal stakeholders and external business partners in order to deliver solutions that meet client needs.

  • Understanding of Global Card and Comprehensive Payables industry including competitive landscape and regional marketplace variations.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Solid experience and understanding of the UML modeling, including Use Case definition, Sequence Diagrams, etc.

  • Experience with the Agile Development (Kanban): able to write clear User Epics and User Stories in Jira, participate in sprint planning, groom the product backlog, define acceptance criteria and verify that they’re met

  • Collaborate with the development team and stakeholders

  • Very Nice to have: Prior Experience as a Scrum master; able to fulfill the role on critical projects.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering

  • Demonstrated Knowledge and Experience with Payment Processing (Gateway, Processors: FirstData, TSYS,…) and Acquirer Merchant Services

- Full Time position (w/ 90-day probation period)

- Semi-monthly payroll (paid on the 1st & 15th of each month)
