Are you ready to be a part of a first-class team changing the FinTech industry? PayCertify is looking for a talented and self-driven Marketing Specialist/Content Writer to join our Marketing team. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you will play a crucial role in supporting Marketing programs, creating content, building brand awareness, and driving organic search traffic. In this role, you will create and post blog content, as well as create content, proof, edit, and provide QA for emails, print collateral, website copy, and other marketing communications. In addition, you will assist with SEO tasks, competitive research, and promotion/outreach. 

The Responsibilities:

  • Create blog content to employ SEO strategy and build brand awareness

  • Conduct research to uncover relevant FinTech content topics and opportunities

  • Work closely with the Sales and Product teams to create industry-specific blog content

  • Upload and format blog and website content in CMS

  • Proof, edit, and QA client-facing emails, print collateral, case studies, and other marketing materials

  • Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles

  • Create content and copy for online advertisements and listings, email, print, and more

  • Maintain editorial calendar and work with social team on content promotion

  • Assist in updating website content like product and service pages, and more

  • Assist in SEO tasks like research and outreach

You Have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in English, Marketing, Communications, Finance, or related field

  • Exceptional writing skills and experience writing long-form blog content

  • Ability to create engaging and accurate content

  • Eye for detail to proofread and catch errors

  • Strong grammar and spelling to suggest edits when errors are found

  • Organizational skills to juggle calendars, deadlines, brainstorms, and more

  • Ability to work independently, where you are given topic and you execute start-to-finish

  • Ability to work collaboratively with other departments

  • CMS experience like WordPress and similar platforms

  • A crisp understanding of social network platforms 

  • A proactive, organized, detail oriented, and quality driven personality

Bonus Points if you have:

  • Experience with SEO

  • Experience with Google Analytics

  • Experience with Canva or design software

  • Experience with Ontraport or similar tool
