We just closed our seed round, backed by Silicon Valley investors and a team with experience from Angelist, Facebook, Harvard, and McKinsey. We are looking for a technical leader to build our product delivery team and take our MVP to a scalable product.
Currently, entrepreneurship in emerging markets is difficult. In these emerging ecosystems, startups struggle with finding talent, capital, and resources they need to succeed. This is mainly caused by fragmentation and inefficiency of these ecosystems as well as a lack of community. Pariti is solving this exact problem.
That being said, entrepreneurship in emerging markets provides a greater growth opportunity due the saturation of developed markets. Venture capital investment is doubling every year and Africa’s internet economy alone will hit $180 billion dollars by 2025 producing a unicorn every quarter.
This is just the beginning. And Pariti’s infrastructure will accelerate this, creating prosperous economies worldwide. In the past year alone, we have supported 750+ startups, booked $250K in revenue, and helped startups raise $16M in funding to date.
We are looking for a technical leader to build a scalable product & a tech team around. The requirements of the role are:
  1. Build, manage & mentor a strong team of developers
  2. Set up & manage the software architecture and development lifecycle from end to end
  3. Get their hands dirty and write code where needed
  4. Manage the tech roadmap of the company
  5. Liaise with the product and other executives in the company
Our MVP was built using Django and Angular. It is your mission to take the learnings from our MVP and deliver a scalable product to market using any stack of your choice. The perfect candidate for this role will love topics such as ranking algorithms, complex data models, mentoring engineers, and helping entrepreneurs in emerging markets. We will also experiment with token economics to provide incentives for collaboration.
