Position Description
You will be a key part of Pani’s sales team reporting to CEO, responsible for owning multiple (regional & strategic) end-customer accounts & channel partner relationships while creating new successful business outcomes including renewals + growth. Working cross-departmental, you will gather relevant information from Customer Success and Onboarding on value creation and customer product usage to drive effective performance improvement plans with customers which will lead to renewals and upselling opportunities.

What you bring to the team
- University degree in engineering, sciences, or relevant equivalent education and experience
- Minimum of 3 years of sales management or account management experience in the water sector
- Technical Acumen: Possess a deep understanding of technical treatment plant operations & processes, especially in areas like desalination (SWRO, BWRO, etc.) and municipal wastewater treatment plants.
- Customer Insight: Ability to identify customer challenges and curate tailored use cases and demos.
- Interpersonal Prowess: Must exhibit outstanding interpersonal abilities, fostering relationships with customers and internal teams alike.
- Communication Mastery: Adept at both written and verbal communication, ensuring clear conveyance of value propositions and technical nuances.
- Customer Interaction: Comfortable and confident in dealing with customers across various organizational hierarchies.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong, meaningful relationships with clients as their main point of contact, advocate, and partner.
- Own a portfolio of client accounts, gain a deep understanding of each client’s desired outcomes, and work with internal partners to drive the client’s desired KPI’s and outcomes.
- Track and manage client advertising spending on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, proactively identifying budget issues and proposing solutions to clients.
- Provide media and marketing research that addresses client needs and leverage those insights to build multi-channel advertising campaigns and make strategic recommendations that will lead to outcomes exceeding client goals.
- Perform complex data analysis, derive insights, and present reports to clients in a way that builds partnership and an understanding of the value Pani delivers their organization on a regular cadence which may include but is not limited to weekly status update meetings and quarterly business reviews.
- Partner cross-functionally with the product, and development teams to investigate bugs and technical issues, and solve client-facing issues while building a technical understanding of Pani’s product suite.
- Partner with strategy and sales teams to build and present business cases for evolving client product mix by expanding and exceeding client’s goals.
- Empower clients with the education and information they need to successfully understand campaigns and data within the Pani platform including keeping clients up to date with product enhancements, changes, or technical issues.
- Exceed client expectations for customer service in every client interaction by overcommunicating and overdelivering in response to client inquiries.

Compensation
Pani offers a competitive total rewards package which includes a comprehensive health & dental benefits and paid time off. The annualized base salary range for this Victoria-based role is CAD $75,000 to $120,000. The base salary offered to the successful candidate will consider a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill set, level of experience applicable to the role they are being offered, and consideration of internal equity. Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including, but not limited to, location, experience, and expertise.
