Hello there!

We’re Pairing, a venture studio that builds and launches customized software products for clients and internal startups. Our work spans from building MVPs to scaling complex systems used by thousands of users.

We’re looking for a Ruby on Rails Developer to help us build and maintain scalable, maintainable web applications.

Who We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate:

• Has experience working on large-scale Ruby on Rails applications

• Writes clean, efficient, and testable code

• Can plan and write algorithms independently (we’ll test for this)

• Has strong English communication skills (spoken and written)

• Has access to a stable computer setup with good audio/video quality for frequent Zoom calls

• Can commit to 32–40 hours per week

• Is based in Addis Ababa and is willing to work from the office at least twice a week

Bonus: If you’re not deeply experienced in Rails but have solid experience in other frameworks like PHP or Python, we’d still love to hear from you.
