My name is Silas, and I’m a senior software engineer.
Back story: I'm about to do a collaboration with a Rails Backend dev from Germany. It'll be about building an office here where I live in Addis Ababa. We'll help them work on a bigger project as front-end devs.
And I need you to be one of my first hires. It's important that you are outstanding - so we both can build this office together and train the next people.
I need you to be really good in the front end. have experience in developing large applications using Vue/React/. It's fine if you don't know everything if you feel confident to catch up. Those are the technologies we'll work with:
VueJs/Nuxt/
React/Next/
GraphQL
CSS framework(like Tailwind)
Ruby on rails
CI/CD
It'd be good if you could come to the office several times weekly. Working from home is also okay, but see that we will hire more people. Some presence would be good.

Responsibility:
Translate UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application
Ensure the frontend application is robust and scalable
Integrate the frontend application with backend services
Responsible for software development, implementation, and testing of UI applications
Craft code that meets standards for style, maintainability, reusability, and best practices for a high-scale web environment
Solve technical problems of high scope and complexity
Participating in meetings with clients to discuss project status and requirements
Requirements:
2+ years of experience as a Frontend Engineer/Portfolio of relevant experience./
Experience developing large applications with Vue.js.
In-Depth Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Ability to code pixel-perfect HTML elements from graphics provided and knowledge of responsive and mobile-first design.
Expert at API Integration or backend services/GraphQL/
Skilled with SCSS and familiar with the BEM standard.
Experience in working in state management libraries.
Experience in writing unit and e2e tests, familiarity with the JS test libraries.
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools(Git)
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Basic backend programming
