### Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Principal to join our team in Pittsburgh. The Principal will be responsible for leading deal teams and managing portfolio companies, with the ultimate goal of generating superior returns for our investors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Private Equity, with a proven track record of success in sourcing, executing and managing investments.

### Key Responsibilities:

- Source new investment opportunities through a variety of channels, including industry relationships, networking events, and market research.
- Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investments, including financial analysis, market research, and operational assessments.
- Lead deal teams through all aspects of the investment process, including negotiations, legal documentation, and financing.
- Manage portfolio companies to drive operational improvements and growth initiatives.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, management teams, and industry experts.
- Provide regular updates to senior leadership on the performance of the portfolio.

### Required Skills:

- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills: The Principal should have a deep understanding of financial modeling and analysis, including the ability to build complex financial models and perform in-depth analysis of financial statements, industry trends, and market conditions.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: The Principal should be an effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills. They should be able to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, management teams, and industry experts.

- Ability to work independently and lead deal teams: The Principal should be able to work independently and lead deal teams through all aspects of the investment process. They should be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.

- Experience managing portfolio companies preferred: While not required, experience managing portfolio companies is a plus. The Principal should have a strong understanding of operational improvements and growth initiatives that can be implemented to drive value in portfolio companies.

### Education and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field: A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required. An MBA or other advanced degree is a plus.

- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Private Equity, Investment Banking or related field: The Principal should have a minimum of 8 years of experience in Private Equity, Investment Banking or a related field. They should have a proven track record of success in sourcing, executing and managing investments.

### Compensation:

Compensation for this position will be competitive and commensurate with experience. In addition to base salary, the Principal will be eligible for performance-based bonuses and other benefits.
