Key Responsibilities:

  • Rack and server installation, Understanding and creating CIQs
  • Switch Installation and commissioning
  • Power-up and iDRAC Configurations
  • Understand and troubleshoot cable connectivity
  • Able to install BIOS and OS on Bare Metal servers
  • Configure PTP between Qulsar Master Switch and GPS & PTP aware switch.
  • DU to PTP connectivity and synchronization & FH Config.
  • Should be able to do an end to end audit of all Nodes and Interfaces.
  • Able to do RRH and RF Antenna installations, RRH to OTP connectivity.
  • Power the RF systems and troubleshooting any RRH radiating issues.
  • Responsible primarily for the research, development, hands-on integration and evaluation of early stage Wireless Radio Access Network (RAN) related infrastructure and products.
  • Collaborating with the Engineering and Product Development organizations, vendors, and standards and policy organizations.
  • Will drive proof of concept solution creation with focus on the wireless access systems and next generation e2e applications.

 

Job Requirements:

  • 8-10 years of experience working with RAN systems
  • UE debuggers like QXDM, XCAL and TEMS
  • Application traffic generators like iPerf, IxLoad etc
  • Knowledge of message flows and parameters used in the messages for 5G procedures
  • Has detailed knowledge of 4G and 5G protocol stack.
  • Strong technology expertise, proven leadership skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, superb technical skills, and strong customer-service orientations.
  • Proven hands-on expertise in setup and configuration of LTE networks (RAN and Core) with a major equipment vendors and service providers.
  • Able to lead troubleshooting field issues and guide others in debugging field problems.
  • Strong technology expertise, proven leadership skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, superb technical skills, and a strong customer-service orientation.
  • IP knowledge preferred – VLANs, subnets, etc.
  • CCNA and any other relevant certification preferred.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of management.
  • Ability to manage and deliver against several initiatives simultaneously.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize effectively.
  • Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure.
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and electronically.
