Job Brief:  We are searching for a skilled and professional clinical director to manage our organizations clinical department. Your duties will include supervising all day-to-day administrative tasks including maintaining patient charts, supervision, and assigning cases and employee schedules. To succeed in this role, you should have excellent analytical, leadership, be a self starter, and problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will also be an exceptional communicator, with a strong understanding of supervision of clinical team.


Responsibilities: Providing or ensuring, and documenting, that direct clinical supervision is provided at least one hour per week to all clinical staff, individually or in a group setting, with group supervision not to exceed 50 percent of supervision time, as well as any clinical supervision.  Ensuring that counseling services are provided as specified in the client treatment plan and coordinated with other client care services, if applicable, in order to provide continuity of care. Ensuring that the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of clients with co-occurring disorders is provided by appropriately trained and qualified clinical staff and that the clinical supervision of such staff is provided. Providing orientation to and evaluation of new counseling staff prior to assigning them counseling responsibilities. Ensuring that all counseling staff are properly licensed or credentialed in accordance with state regulations (updating files with Malpractice, CEU, and Licensing). Participating in the identification of quality care indicators and outcome objectives and the collection and review of data to monitor staff and program performance ie running reports for all clinician staff to see documentation and copays are completed properly and in a timely manner. Ensuring that clinical staff, including counselor-interns, are supervised by the appropriately credentialed staff. Evaluate existing contract compliance, monitoring, and reporting to ensure all goals are being met. Hire employees to ensure the department is staffed with qualified personnel. Work effectively with other managing staff to develop an efficient billing. Hiring, supervision, evaluation, scheduling, promotion, corrective action within the department. Work with other members of the management team to assure successful communication and coordination between. Must be reliable and consistent with attendance and punctuality to work. Carry out other duties as assigned by other managers or directors.



Skills Required:  Excellent communication and leadership skills. Aptitude for resolving administrative issues and conflicts. In-depth knowledge of policies and regulations in the clinical field. Master’s degree in clinical LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, psychology or related fields.
